Baby Pirate Hiker

This was our best Halloween yet, and that is saying a lot since last Halloween looked something like this...

The reason why it was so great is because of this little beauty.

I wish we had thought ahead and done a family theme but we came up with some decent costumes. Scott's was creepy, mine was lame, but Sammie made up for it.

Matching moustaches! What a bunch of good lookin ladies.

Oh and this is what she looked like before we turned her into a pipe smoking baby pirate.

We are so blessed to have Samantha in our home. In the two short months we've had with her, we've had so much fun.  She has spent quite a bit of time in her carseat. Some would say her parents are crazy (we will not name who), for taking her all over Utah since she is so young, but we only have her living in our home for a short period of time so we are going to enjoy every minute of it while we can! I know she has enjoyed traveling to see all of her family and friends who love her.

This last week she went on her first hike! We couldn't resist the perfect weather November has been providing- who knows how long it will last.  We hiked to a place called the living room. It's just above our apartments and has a great view of Salt Lake City.  The view point has benches made out of rock so hikers can enjoy the view while lounging on the comfy rock "couches", and watch tv made of rocks as well (this doesn't exist up there yet but I am making plans). She was such a good girl and stayed awake for most of the hike without complaining once- surprise surprise huh?  I think she enjoyed looking at all the new things she has never seen before...although I'm not sure how well she can see yet.

Poor girl, she has many more of these hikes to endure:)
