Final Catch up

My family has an ongoing tradition (ever since last year) of going to temple square and eating dinner at Shellie's wonderful Christmasy house in the avenues. Everyone in Utah probably has this tradition but taking the boys and now having Sammie, makes going out in the freezing cold with millions of people, somewhat  enjoyable.  Bummer I didn't get any pics of Jack but he was there.

Me and my Sam Sam. Except you can't see her, so really it's just me and a stroller- sure love that stroller. Wish the temple was clear but we took the wrong lens :(

Max looking confused but cute.

A little doll/puppet boy with Aunt Sheddie- look they are almost the same size

This is the only picture of more than 2 people in the family..it works. Oh wait, if you look hard enough Jack IS in these photos. Perfect. Shellie decided to say a prayer, how appropriate.

Twin Topia!

Tiffy and Ty Ty. Cute pic.

Hunny + Britty

Mom and Dad lookin there best at the temple. I like to see my parents arm in arm.

Catching Up. Part 1

The best thing about Scott still being in school is having 3 weeks off for the holidays. It was a VERY lazy 3 weeks but a fun lazy 3 weeks. I still can't believe this will be our last year of school, what is real life like? Guess we'll find out in a year.
Here are some photos of the holidays with Nana susu, Pop pop, Tiffy, Shellie, Stacie, Matt, and the coolest cousins ever Max and Jack.

Tiffy don't be mad:)

Sammie's first present in her life!

Sammie's first rice cereal, lookin skeptical but she loved it.

Green smoothies

Whoever thought of putting spinach or kale in a smoothie? I can picture this person saying "I like spinach, I like smoothies, why not?". They begin making the smoothie: spinach, yummy strawberries, bananas, orange juice, and pineapple. Lookin good so far.

Blend blend blend. And then this is what they see:

It took a brave soul to first drink one of these.  Scott and I have always wanted to try these mysterious green smoothies that everyone raves about. The awful color held me back for many months but we finally made the decision to make one and I can now say that the rumors are true: healthy and delicious. Another new years resolution started. This house will be seeing many a more green smoothies.

Better late than never

And...we're back! Back to blogging with more photos, hopefully more documentation of our lives together, and more Sammie Sammie Sammie. Three cheers for new years resolutions of keeping up a blog.
Since the last post my little lady Samantha has grown so much. Every week she seems to learn something new. She had her first taste of rice cereal Christmas morning. At first she was unsure of this new slimy texture but she is now very anxious to eat her big girl food. Here is a cute video of her anxiously eating solids.

Christmas week also marked the time she started to use her hand-eye coordination. Santa was worried she wasn't old enough for chew toys quite yet but she proved him wrong and knew exactly what to do with them. Hold them, chew them, slobber on them- what a smart kiddo.

Who needs princesses when you can have super hero action figures

My arms have gotten good exercise from holding her bottles but I can't say I'm not anxious for the day when I don't have to hold up anymore bottles.

She loves her toes!

Santa was also very generous to me and Scotty. Scott received the all-knowing, superior iphone. It is sleek, smart, fast and makes him look very handsome and intelligent.

My favorite part is using the facetime with my family so they can see Sammie grow, and so I can see little Tiffy grow- what a beautiful young lawyer she will be. Scott gave me a bunch of stuff and I mostly love my new Ninja blender. This year will be a year of green smoothies, running, and trying to fit into 3/4 of my wardrobe again.

Don't know where this little chubbster photo came from but yes that is Sammie.

Hot tubbing anyone?

Before the end of this post I would like to announce that I am finally done with making caramel apples! Yipee! Until we meet again in October.
